- "Talking things over" with the Taliban is a waste of time. These are the folks who gave safe haven to Bin Laden while he planned 9/11. They shoot children for going to school. They behead those who do not agree with them.

- Before we start discussing the 2016 race let's get the people we've already elected, on both sides of the aisle, to do their various jobs for a change. In congress, in the White House, at the state and local level there's plenty that needs to be done now and in the next couple of years.

- Arizona has a severe, real problem caused by many, many illegal immigrants. The federal government won't help by doing a much better job enforcing immigration laws along the southern border. So the state government tries to do something and then the feds tell them they can't.
